  1.                                     TAPETIME

  4. This routine will calculate the number of minutes into a standard T-60 or  T-120
  5. VCR  tape at the 2, 4, or 6 hour speeds.  It was developed using a GE unit.  The
  6. tape counter may be different on other  brands.    To  determine  any  varience,
  7. compare  your indicator after one hour of recording.  The GE unit reads 1523 for
  8. a T-120 at the 6 hour speed.

  10. If your tape unit has a different reading, you can override the default setting
  11. during the start-up phase.
  12.  
  13. We plan to make several improvements in this routine in the near future.   These
  14. include:
  15.        1. Addition of T-180 tapes.
  16.        2. Automatic calculation for elapsed time between 2 different counter
  17.           readings.
  18.        3. Restart via a function key to change types of tapes.
  19.  
  20. This routine will be part of a total package to be released soon for maintenance
